THC

THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is the primary psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant. It is one of the cannabinoids, found in the trichomes of female cannabis flowers. THC is the psychoactive substance in cannabis, which can attach to the endocannabinoid receptors, and results in euphoria, hallucinations or heightened sensory experiences when ingested. It is also a potent anti-inflammatory and has been used to treat many medical conditions such as cancer, chronic pain, arthritis, convulsions, glaucoma, insomnia and more.
