Topical is a marijuana-infused oil, cream, salve, lotion or balm that can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions. It is applied to the skin and, consequently, has no psychoactive effects, as it only penetrates to the system of CB2 receptors. Some of the conditions treated by topicals include itching, muscle soreness, tension, arthritis, pain and inflammation.
