Hydrocarbon Extraction

Hydrocarbon Extraction is an extraction process using solvents such as butane, propane and hexane to separate the trichomes from the plant material, to create a variety of cannabis concentrates. Because hydrocarbon solvents are volatile, this process should only be carried out in carefully controlled environments, as without proper ventilation, dangerous explosions when ignited.
